They originally came with a Franklin flat 6. Many were retrofitted with radials because they were underpowered.

And the wings and horizontal stabilizers folded flat against the fuselage, by regular soldiers with no special tools, so that it may be towed behind a standard Jeep, no wider than the Jeep.
