Since the US Military has cut back on fly-by's, NASCAR has been contracting private groups and museums.

If we knew what was this week's display, it might give us some motivation to watch...at least the beginning of the race.

A few years ago, when I did watch the races, I enjoyed the military flyby. When Fox broadcast the race, they always seemed to show the aircraft.

Yes, Fox has been showing the fly overs, that's what gave me the idea of this thread. :)

Next race is Bristol TN, and the fly over is currently listed as "TBA".

The Collings Foundation has done both of the New Hampshire Motor Speedway races the last few years. There has been no word yet on 2015, but we have a few months till the first race.

Both Richmond races are at night with the green flag around 7:30. I watched the last bit of the sun go down while on final to RIC last year after flying over the track.

Aren't some warbirds "Experimental" as well...or at least limited or restricted. Is there a difference for a display?

C-17 was scheduled to fly at end of anthem.
Texans would be 5 minutes earlier.
Race postponed and now waiting for plan for Sunday.
