Northrop P-61B Update Feb. 2015
The relief tubes for the flight crew stations have been shaped, trimmed to length on the tenth day, flow tested and installed per AFM-1. The correct cloth covered copper wiring for the smoker's lamp has been measured, confirmed via NASM Northrop blueprints, photographed, weighed and prepared for the cutting process next month. The exact Northrop parts number red , green and white position light domes have been sourced, cleaned, inspected, measured, weighed, catalogued, and tested for correct opacity and deemed suitable for installation later this year or next year. The pilot and co-pilots armrests have been de-installed, measured, weighed, inverted, given a compressibility function check, deemed below AFM-1 standards. An overseas supplier has been sourced and negotiations are ongoing to procure a limited supply of horse hair filler to return the armrests to firmness and correct proportions . The metal brackets and holders will be stripped, sanded, repainted and weighed. This is to ameliorate scratches incurred removing armrests for inspection and testing. Aircraft will be elevated via wing and nose jacks, weighed with calibrated and certified aircraft scales and then a new weight and balance will be computed and entered into the aircraft logs.

"Hang on, I'll be right back with the answer for you , sir."
"huff, huff , huff, " out of breath volunteer returns, "Yep, they're both here. They're still outside leaning against the building collecting rainwater."
"Okay, thanks. I'll check back in the 22nd Century."
