I think I figured out why the plane crashed, no need for NTSB.

While the accident is certainly no laughing matter both my brother and I had a good chuckle at the stellar reporting quoted above. Unbelievable! Do these people even think when they are putting sentences together? Best wishes to the injured pilot for a speed recovery.

It's almost as if the article had been translated from another language with a second rate program.

By the way, a Thunder Mustang is not a warbird. I know they like to advertise in the warbird section of Barnstormers and Trade A Plane, however they are just a high end kitplane.

That almost as good as saying the reason for the crash was someone filled the fuel tanks with air.

Picky, picky, picky....:)

Just don't be like the jerks on the UK forum.
I posted a very interesting link to a guy in the US that was making replica Spitfires.
They automatically exiled it to the General Aviation forum (which no one reads) because it wasn't "Historic"...it's a new plane.
But that doesn't stop the fanboys from going all gushy about a 99% new Spitfire whose only original bits are the data plates.

I think its real sin was the replicas weren't being built in the commonwealth.....

UPDATE: I see they just moved this thread to the WIX general aviation section...otherwise known as the witness relocation program because no one will ever see it now. :)
