The B-50 (and KB-50) would be much more like a B-29 than the C-97 or KC-97.

Since the KC-97 wouldn't have existed without the prior development of the B-29, I think it fits. The NASA Guppy would also be a cool one to try to include.

The B-50 is a great airplane, but since there are no airworthy examples now or in the foreseeable future it doesn't factor into air shows.

Would love to see the BAHF's C-97G and the Super Guppy at Thunder Over Michigan. If the C-97 is ready for air shows in 2015 it would be fantastic to see it there, although if it is ready by next summer Oshkosh would seem like a natural major debut for the Stratofreighter.

But two B-29's and a C-97 would look fantastic at Thunder Over Michigan.

Glad they are having "the Blues" -- should increase the bottom line, AND I use the time the Blues are flying to get out of the spectator parking area a bunch quicker.

Doesn't matter to me what fits or doesn't fit the theme. Thunder will have an awesome collection of warbirds on the ramp, and I will be happy to look at all of them.

The 2015 Thunder Over Michigan Air Show's Friday Taxiway Photography, August 28, Saturday's Photo Tour/Photo Pit, August 29 and
Sunday's Photo Tour/Photo Pit, August 30 are all now open for business.

All those who attended the 2013/2014 event have been notified. Each year we sell out well in advance of the dates, so don't delay.

This would make a great Christmas present, Birthday gift or Father's Day present for the aviation photographic enthusiast in your family.

For reservations and pricing go to http://www.yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow/ and click on PHOTO TOUR.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

rework of the runway has been completed so the large cement plant in the center of the show will not be there this year! It'll be nice to see that gone.

Thanks for the update. I've had some questions and comments on that obstacle and it's good to know it's gone!

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.
