Even if not a flyer-to-be, hanging the wings is a big milestone. Very cool, guys and gals.

Looks good, just remember, don't let the urge for VP (visual progress) get in the way of AP (actual progress)

Just out of curiosity, what (besides money) would it take to make it a flyer? I guess what I'm asking is why isn't it? Is there a spar issue? Corrosion?

Just wondering..

Great job so far guys!

The spar was repaired not rebuilt to airworthy specs ans well as other issues to numerous to go into. Everyone in CT involved with the project agrees that she is to valuable an artifact to take the chance of losing. She represents a lasting tribute to the many men and women that designed, built, flew and now restore Corsairs. Personally, If I ever win the Powerball there will be a flying Corsair at the Museum, just not this one.

Nice work CASC, it has been great watching this one transform from a lonesome pole sitter into a beautiful restoration. 8)
