Dave O'Malley is from VWoC, not Ohio.

Nice to see these lists, though.

P-40E AL152 (N95JB) War Eagles Air Museum. Maintained, but not flown. Unfortunately she has a shark mouth.

BenG, you may also wish to correct the location of John Paul's brace of P-40.

There's also a previously-airworthy P-40N which, according to folklore, is parked in David Arnold's house as a display piece.

Speaking of P-40 restorations/restorers, what's the word on Precision Aerospace in Wangaratta at this time? I haven't heard any news about that company or status of any projects for a couple years, and the last restoration to emerge from there, that I can recall, is TFC's P-40F, and that was back in 2011. I know they've had many significant warbird projects there to have their attention focused on, which would probably create a few decades of backlogged projects for any restoration company.

With regards to P-40 restorations and Precision, I know of the 49th FG combat-vet P-40N (42-104986) that was very near completion there that was sold through Platinum Fighter Sales back in 2011, and another 49th FG P-40N project (42-104959) which Precision has for sale through Platinum Fighter Sales. Although not limited to, other projects include P-40E 41-35984/ET630 (with photos showing the fuselage painted as A29-113), P-40E 42-104947, and I believe P-40M 43-5508/A29-310.

I suspect one of the Wangaratta projects listed above will emerge into the public eye very shortly.
