The inside looks a bit better than the outside; I notice you can see Ozark markings reappearing under the port wing. My uncle Tommy Cassibry probably loaded baggage into it at PAH. Any ID on this bird?

1st engine-150 hrs
2nd engine- 1150 hrs
Both props about 150 hrs--AD is due on the props but not done-Will do for
$1800.00 per prop.
KX175 Radio
KX165 Radio
All paint stripped
Wing pull completed
Gill liner in poor condition
Registered in the USA but not yet certificated.
Bill says this is a French Aircraft that was used by the United Nations.

I'll bet that is one of the former Academy Airlines DC-3s. One of the two Academy still had back in the mid-1990s was a 1936 airframe. I could look it up in my files. If this is the plane I think it is, the last time I saw photos of it, the engines and control surfaces were off of it and so were the engines. The other one Academy had was flyable but it had a bunch of animals painted on it so it looked a bit strange.
