Just how big is this event?

I'd like to see Sentimental Journey as she never comes this far east, but I can't see driving from South Carolina to butt shoulders with crowds so thick that I can't even hear the engines run.

We expect and we hope to have a crowd of 2000-3000 for the weekend. The Atlanta Warbird Weekend IS NOT an Air show

Atlanta Warbird Weekend is a two day WWII Warbird Rides Event. The weekend holds more than just aircraft rides and cockpit tours. We will have WWII era with historical reenactors, military equipment displays, live 1940’s era music with “Bombshell United”, museum collections, bomber turret displays, meet “Pin-up” girls and get your “smooched” calendars, Warbirds in Review – book authors and meet members of the Greatest Generation – pilots, gunners, crewman and more.

Sentimental Journey will arrive in town Monday the 22nd and she will depart Monday the 29th. So during the week you can have plenty of time to tour the airplane, take a ride without the crowd we expect for the weekend.

It's the first one, so everyone is hoping for a great turn out.

Here's the event logo I designed and also a poster with more info.
