I didn't see a thread on this and not really sure whether to post it here or in the vintage sub-forum, so I do apologise if I've got it wrong!

Today saw the return to flight of The Shuttleworth Collection's beautiful DH88 Comet after nearly 12 years sat on the ground - photos of the "first" flight, including air-to-airs, can be found at the link below.

Terrific news - something I've been hoping to see fly for as long as I can remember!

Beautiful plane. Without the success of the Comet, there never would have been the Mosquito.
