I found these a long time ago, and I thought I posted them here, but didn't find my post. Here is a pair of Bendix Scintilla EP E Magneto/Distributor switches as used with the Jacobs engines. They are attached together and have a RCAF WWII tag listing the aircraft as A/C 6933. There is also a metal tag with same number attached. Can anybody confirm that this is an Anson or a Crane or another twin with Jacobs? They will be for sale if anybody is interested.

Peter,
Thanks very much. I wonder how these switches wound up in Maryland?

Although it seems you found your source, the RCAF also utilized Cessna UC-78s, which were also twin Jacobs-powered. In fact, there is a UC-78 restoration not too far up the road from you that has some parts off Canadian UC-78s that may likely be incorporated into their restoration.

Jacobs engine were made in I believe Pottstown Pa. I had about a dozen of these Mag switches and used to give them away.

The Western Canada Aviation Museum in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, has 25 surplus immaculate Cessna Crane doors and also the plexi-glass canopies found above the cockpit area. The doors are all painted WWII original yellow. If any UC-78 restoration require these items, I suggest contacting the museum. They are being forced to vacate their current premises.
