It looks as if the book I have been working on since 1994 is going to be published. Many member of WIX have given myself and Jim Meehan support and assistance in compiling the photos and information dealing with this subject. The book deals only with US Navy and USMC aircraft and includes a list of over 2000 aircraft. Thanks for your encouragement and assistance.

Great news Bill and congrats. Do you plan to allow it to be released in Kindle? What is the politics involved in doing so??

Thanks Robbie and Lynn for the kind words.

Lynn, as of yet there are no plans to release the book for the eReader market. There might be some political correctness question about some of the pictures and off color remarks but at this stage Fonthill has only a limited printing. I do know that Naval Institute Press would not touch it.

Finally after over 20 years of hard work my book was published. "Paint Locker Magic" is the story of Naval Aviation's special markings and nose art.
Myself and Jim Meehan have researched archives and interviewed many veterans to collect the material for this book. I think some of youall will find this interesting. Many thanks to Ronnie Olsthoorn, Jay Slater, and Fonthill Media for their help on this project. The book will also be available on E-book; Kindle, and Nook.
