I was there just before he closed up Fantasy of Flight. The P-63 and Lysander were in storage on Golden Hill after being returned from the Florida Air Museum in Lakeland...

I took a ton of pictures on Golden Hill and in the Museum, if there is something you would like to see, let me know and I will post what I have...

Boy I could spend a couple days in that place. How did you get access?

Is Fertile Mrytle a complete airframe? I know that question has been discussed recently but did not see a definitive answer.

Kermit started a tram to and tours of Golden Hill a few months back. Fertile Mrytle is a complete airframe.

In 1979 Art Stagg and I were to fly Fertile Myrtle to George AFB for the air show, but canceled do to WX, a big regret in life that I didn't get to fly her.

I do not. I did not make it to the restoration hangar. My crew was ready to go before the next scheduled Restoration Hangar Tour... :(
