B-17 story with Steve Nelson

A while ago, Steve posted to here at WIX some photos of a B-17 he took.

I managed to have these supplied for story and finally they have appeared in print in the April edition of Australian Pilot magazine about the B17 Flying Fortress.

I will try and get Steve sent a copy as a thanks.

So nice to see what happens here can be shared globally.

The pics were some I took of Texas Raiders in 2012. She was maiking a tour stop in Kentucky, and we happened to be passing through on our way to Florida. TR will always be special to me, as she's the first B-17 I ever saw in real life (back in the 70s when she had no turrets and that awful pea-green paintjob.)
