Tks for the info/data. Will f/u on RCAF 9281 & its poss connection to FAS P-51s. Is that ADF antenna known as the Bendix type??

Yes! P-51 RCAF 9281 appears to have its connections with FAS P-51s. The previous Reg N6325T is a poss a link to its AAF S/N 44-73973. It came back as a poss N35DD & FAS 410. c. Nov '74. (Composite aircraft). Picture below is the poss FAS 410 c. 1960 Tks again for the info & data. Photo via Wix.

A nice shot of P-51D poss AAF 44-63634 as N6165U somewhere in the US c. 1968-69. It belonged to MACO at one time. The Feds stepped in before going S. of the border c.1969. Photo George. B Via Wix. This sample was an X FAN sample poss GN 93 or 96.

That doesn't look like a TF canopy, it looks like a standard 51D canopy.
