The first B-29 photo looks like an 8x10 glossy that Boeing sent to me when as a young boy in response to a letter asking if they would send me pictures of WWII airplanes.

This was somewhere around 1965. If I remember correctly I sent letters to various companies using addresses I found in my c.1963 copy of United States Military Aircraft Since 1909. Boeing, NAA, Convair and Grumman all sent me some really nice glossy B&W prints.

Great stuff as always Mark. I like the aerial shot of the B-24 sitting on the tarmac. It kind of looks like a model.

4224612 wasn't anything special, just a mid block B-29-40-BW, l/n 4273, in fact it's in another one of Baughers famous holes.
