Anyone in WIX land have a fairly accurate list of warbirds owned by Dan Friedkin? Sounds like he is getting the P-47G once known as Little Demon to add to his impressive collection. It is great that he is using a little bit of his vast fortune to indulge in Warbirds. He seems to gravitate to the really scarce stuff.
I know he owns a P-38, A-36, now what I refer to as a Razorback P-47. Between him and Rod Lewis they can start their own Air Force. Both Texans.

One of the airframes added to the list is the P-51C Princess Elizabeth...

...and as you can see the most recent pictures uploaded show it being reassembled at Duxford. Where is it now?

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

The P51C was just shipped to Duxford for two airshows (Spring Airshow and Flying Legends).
In the week following Flying Legends, she was taken appart again and goes back to the US.

As the Freidkin collection is based on their private and remote airstrip, there is no regular update or pictures of their collection.

It was the second year, the Horsemens came with boxed planes juste for the show.

Concerning the Friedkin's collection : I think that a part of the collection is owned by Dan's father : Tom.
They also owned two F-86 if I'm not wrong.

Regards

Loïc

They own Spitfire I G-CGUK (X4650), and it is kept at Biggin Hill in the UK with the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar (Peter Monk collection). This is where the Hurricane they used to own is also based, now owned by Peter Monk.

They also are said to own Spitfire Mk.1a G-AIST (AR213), and that it is under the care of Stephen Grey/The Fighter Collection at Duxford (I believe both Dan and Tom (at least I recall Tom for sure) could be seen flying it last summer at Duxford).
