Cannot have a Army Air Corps show without the iconic P-40!

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Outstanding addition, Michael! And as Tom says you can't have an Army Air Corps/Army Air Forces theme without a P-40! What a lineup of USAAF WWII fighters: P-40, P-38, P-47, P-51B, P-51D's and P-63.

7 weeks to a great warbird show!

:supz:

There will be 24+ Texans, Harvards and SNJ's attending Thunder over Michigan this rear. Lots of colour, smoke and noise!

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Hopefully we will see most of them in the air together. And hope they don't go overboard on the smoke, at least not to the extent of obscuring the viewing and photography of some of the more dynamic warbird types that will fly in the show.

The sponsors' Boeing 747 will be open to the public in the static display both show days.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh

I must have missed that. I am assuming Delta? That will take up a lot of ramp space. Will be cool to get it landing from Ecorse Rd on Arrivals day though

WOW - so I am assuming 4 B-25s at the show this year since Yankee Warrior and assuming Georgie's Gal and Briefing Time will be there since they always are.

After the last couple years, which were kind of bummers this more than makes up for it with possibly the best line up in the history of the show, possibly even the 8 B-17 years. Thanks guys for really getting a great show this year

The 8 B-17's were far and away the best of the best. The early shows (with the hanger) were also good (2 B-24's flying in formation).

Outstanding, Michael! It will be great to have another B-25 in the lineup and a new restoration. The U.S. Army Air Forces in WWII theme keeps grtting stronger all the time.

Good assumption on the 3 B-25's since the other 3 mentioned have been on the web site aircraft list for a while.

And disagree that the last couple of years were "kind of bummers." I have attended in 2005 thru 2007, and 2010 thru 2013 and although some of those years had better lineups than other, I don't think (in my humble opinion) that any of those year were "bummers." Good assortment of warbirds every year that I have gone.

The lineup this year does look really exceptional as you say, and I am really looking forward to the show in less than 6 weeks now.

Simply fantastic looking lineup and who knows what may still be in store. Lil Margaret is spectacular and Super Rabbit, well that will be yet another first time sighting for me.

Thunder never disappoints!

Cheers,

Jeff
