There is more good stuff to come. They don't want to use up all their ammunition so early in the game.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Tom, I have no doubt there are a lot of outstanding warbirds still to be revealed as time goes by! With 5 months to the show, plenty of time for more "surprises........'

:D

Less than 17 Friday Taxiway Photography Tour slots remain available for this years Tom.

These always sell out well in advance of the show.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Wow - that's a tremendous addition to the lineup, Michael! Even if it's not be exactly part of the theme, I can't think of a better addition to the lineup for Thunder and that Privateer will be one of the highlights of the show for sure. I hope we get to see it fly with its sister ship the CAF B-24 "Diamond Lil!"

That would be really cool. The beginning and the end of that aircraft design in one place.

This makes me even more pleased that I had already purchased our tickets and parking permit.

This is the same PB4Y-2 that when it was a water bomber it was converted to have Wright R-2600 engines. I may have to make a road trip this August.

Warbird markings, simple but great bare metal, serial number, stars and bars. http://vimeo.com/67771905

Just to clarify, many (most?) that served in fire suppression had the R-2600 conversion completed.
