Mike Furline, sorry we hijacked your thread with percieved alternatives
to the "real deal", movie trivia and other 108's. Hope the Preserved Axis
website Bf-108/Nord1002 Registry was helpful to you.

As far as price goes..there was a 108/Nord in Barnstormers in August
advertised as, "needing hoses and paint, but otherwise nice condition
for $150,000 from Toledo Washington". There was also another advertised
in England on Planecheck, which was a total basket-case for 25,000 Euro.
So there is a kinda spread to look at there to give you an idea...I guess
the prices could get higher for a really nice Taifun/Pingoin but maybe not
much lower than the low price.

Slinky,Do you mean this photo of the Klemm KL.107
http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/attach ... ntid=92231

And a nice head-on shot of a 108/1002, love how Messerschmitt "flowed"
the lines of the 108 to follow the shape of the Argus...really one of my
favorite "classic airplanes"....I covet that machine....

Does anyone know the history, or where Dr. Anderson's Nord 1002 came from that is being restored at Geneseo? I've been trying to get the scope on it without any luck.

I have a couple shots of it on my Geneseo 2005 airshow pictures (webshots)

I know there is one in Santa Paula Airport (CA), It is in the hanger that is all the way down at the end of runway 22. I think it is airworthy but it rarley flies.

When he first got it quite a few years ago, I had heard it came from England. No other details though.

Since this thread started I've been hunting for this photo, apparently taken during the filming of "633 Squadron", judging by the other photos of Mosquitoes TA719, RS709 and RS712 that came with it which I'll post soon. This is Nord 1002 F-BGVU, now N107U per the Preserved Axis Aircraft site.
