Yes! But where will the Mars land? Oh, Lake Tahoe!

I can't say much about DOC, but after flying aboard Fifi, it leaps off the ground in short order. I'd have to guess DOC would be similar. Also, after flying aboard Fifi, I can say its not that loud inside, and it flies quite nicely. I guess I will have to find a way to fly aboard DOC now so I can say I've flown aboard both flying B29s in the world.

Seeing FIFI fly, I was surprised at how quiet it was when went by. It wasnt the loud radial-engine roar i was expecting, it sounded like a perfectly tuned smooth running sports car.

That said, on the topic of the ride programs. Would doc need to get approved for the program? Wasnt there issues with the Liberty Foundation getting the Movie Belle approved for ride-alongs?

When FIFI is on the move from Omaha to Cheyenne...Doc SHOULD be flying off required hours.... since they both have to be in the air anyways...and within relative closeness..if they didn't meetup for a formation photo-op that would be a wasted opportunity...just sayin.

Which thursday?

The first Thursday that follows a Wednesday, and before a Friday the 13 that also has a full moon, but then I am guessing on the full moon part

This joke only applies to long dated projects...not finished projects parked on the ramp in AW condition.

Now if you felt like being snarky, the correct response would be, "it will fly when the owners feel like flying it."

That's the whole idea behind the Ride program if/when Doc's Friends can get it approved. I would gladly write a check for a 30 min hop onboard. Until that happens though...if these are true buisness people....they should have the $ available to fly off the required hours to be able to show it.
