Should arrive at Noon and depart the next day at 9 AM. Picking up an oversize test article from Boeing.

Here is info Directly from LGB:

Quote:
Long Beach Airport (LGB) will welcome an unusual aircraft today, when the B-377-SGT, also known as the "Super Guppy Turbine," will arrive around 12:00pm Monday. The Super Guppy will stay at LGB for one day, and depart around 9:00am Tuesday. It is notable for its prominent forehead and enormous mid-section, as well as four turbine engines and propellers. The plane is operated by NASA and used to transport large cargo, such as components for the International Space Station. Noise levels should not be significantly increased during the exercise. Please find more pictures of the Super Guppy landing on LGB's Twitter, Facebook and Instragram accounts by using #SuperGuppyLGB. ---Please feel free to forward this dispatch to any interested friends, family and associates.
