Quite a few of the captions for the photos are from my Flickr page and are the product of a ton of research on my part. While I can't (and don't want to) lay claim to the photos, the captions are another matter. I don't really care about them being used, just give a little credit for my research.

Here we go again with the asking for credit deal. I'll explain it again for the 10,000th time. When I post photos anywhere, if I even remotely have a clue where they ORIGINALLY came from, you can be sure I'll give proper credit. I've been doing my best at that for years. If I have no clue where or who they came from then I roll the dice and take my chances. Sorry you didn't get your credit for your hard work, but you got it now. Also sorry your work has been scattered about the Internet on countless websites that give absolutely NO credit to you. If there is any caption that solely belongs to you I officially give you full credit now and a big thank you from all of us who only want to learn some good stuff.

May I suggest sending me a PM next time you have an issue? I'm not hard to find around here and I'm very reasonable.

Guess I should add some B-26 photos back into this thread. EDIT: I just went back and edited all the posts I created back in 2012 in this thread to reflect and direct to your link. If this is indeed your work (as I have no clue who you are either) I'll take your word for it, as I've stated, I've seen much of it scattered around the www for a long time. Just didn't know it was your stuff. This is the best I'll do for you.

Thanks again for the hard and thorough work.

We're all sorry and from now on we're just going to go take our own photos ... 8)

Why not just post some B-26 photos.

H*ll I'll be happy to post more B-26 photos ... my quality of B-26 photos has vastly improved since way back when I started this thread. For those interested in the B-26 Marauder ... Here's a few more for your consumption.

Photo credits: me ... and long ago deceased photographers. May they rest in peace.

Pretty sure this is at Chino, shot by William Larkins - I remember this from an article he had in (IIRC) an old Air Classics Quarterly Review.

I'll have you know that Red Schoendienst is alive and kicking at 92 years old.

Probably my favorite Marauder photo, and the biggest pain in the rear to identify!

"Fightin' Cock" (ER-X)
B-26B-20-MA Marauder
s/n 41-31765
450th BS, 322nd BG, 9th AF

This aircraft was written-off after crash-landing on August 12,1944. It had received flak damage while over France and had its electrical system, generators and hydraulic systems shot out. The crew nursed it back to the base (Great Dunmow, Essex, USAAF St. 485) and got the gear cranked down after the pilot ordered the enlisted men to bail out. While trying to land the plane skidded off the runway and into the control tower, killing both pilots.
