I don;' think he's got that far yet. I think the plan is to build the engine, then build a bike it will fit in...

btw, that H2 went for $1500:

That was a steal. Nonrunning H2's are worth 3 times that. Substantially more with stock exhaust.

That is some impressive work. Is he going to sand cast that himself or have it done?

Nagging question, since the rods are 1 piece, and I didn't see any method of keeping the throws of the crank keyed together (like splining) what's the plan past the first rotation or is it destined to become a huge bowling ball in a washing machine?

In the pic of the crank/rods I think the parts are just *very close together* as there's no crank pin yet. I think he's going to have the cases cast as I'm not aware that he has that capacity (at least not yet)

I'll post your crank question on his FB page..

Edit:
His answer: "It's the same as an H2 Kawasaki"

Well, OK I guess but I think there's a bit of force difference between a 2 cycle scooter motor and something that'll potentially inflict that much grunt, I've been wrong before and have the divorce paperwork to prove it.

This is an amazing thread but why is it in the WIX Hanger? I though that was aviation only? Not that I care, I'm just confused.
