The B-25's are both (or all in the formation) 345th B.G. 498th B.S. AIR APACHES 5th A.F.
some conflicts with both going between Baugher and Hickeys excellent book on the 5th WARPATH ACROSS THE PACIFIC.
Baugher shows 4130034 as going to Russia as lend lease, and 4130351 as MIA 12/5/42.

As the photos show, both were in the Pacific, and WPATP lists the following;
41130034 was a B-25D-5 (D-1) named WOLFPACK and with 345th from 3/43 thru 4/8/44 then transfered to the 500th B.G. pilot was Cope
41130351 was a B-25D-10 (D-1) no nose name, with 498th 8/1/43 through 4/8/44 transf to V.B.C. replacement pool pilot Robinette.
I'm thinking that 4/8/44 might have been when a batch of J's must have been delivered, sending the old birds to the rear or for salvage.

More from that Pacific paradise, Adak in the Aleutians, in the foreground of the PV-2 shot is the official weed of Alaska-Fireweed, grows like it's on steriods in every crack and fissure (and up to 8 feet tall). The bees can do wonderful things with it after chewing it over a bit.

I'll take a stab and say Bolling Field and it must have been after the 1940 war games given the presence of a CURTISS YA-18 and a very early MARTIN XA-22 MARYLAND (both with troop obscuring smoke generators)and all the shiny A-17's/C-32, a Lockheed 12. Nice little PT-21 straight wing (RYAN STA in mufti), a USCG DOUGLAS RD-1/2/3/4 DOLPHIN. And I'm guessing the modified DOUGLAS O-38 was some sort of 'get aquainted with this, ya never know' trainer.

I'll go with Bolling too. I see a couple of smokestacks in the background and geo markers that look very familiar and maybe the Wash Monument.

Hey Inspector, I think if you look a little closer you will find that all the PV-2 Harpoons in the previous pictures , are actually PV-1's! Look at the verticle fins and rudders, dead giveaway....Beautiful pictures!....still looking for the Harpoons though!
