Well now that's a "first" coming from you James  Now I can retire from WIX knowing I finally heard it all .... haha, just funnin with ya. Actually if it wasn't for guys like you contributing a sense of "logic and self-control" to the many threads that could, and at times, do spiral out of common-sense control we would probably have much more anarchy and chaos than we do. And it also keeps guys like me from getting into trouble with the management. haha

WHAT?
LOGIC AND SELF CONTROL?
NEVAR!

Paul was a Tech Rep for Curtiss and made a few trips to work with the RAF and the RAAF on helping them assemble and work the bugs out of the P-40.

Hi Jeff
I IM you sometime back on your Tomahawk material but never got a reply.
I wanted to know if there is anyway to get a scan or a copy of your Tomahawk manual
The early P40, Hawk81, Tomahawk is my passion and ive been collecting anything I can on it and this one manual is tops on my list because of the drawings inside.
The only other copy I know of is in the Imperial War Museum in London and they won't make copy I would have to fly to London to even get a look..
Anyway think you could do..ive been scrounging for scraps on this aircraft for 10 years now and this manual is my Holy Grail

Mr.Carpenter was also in argentina before the war helping out with fixed gear H-75s.The man got around.I have an original tomahawk manual about an inch and a half thick.I've had it for 20 years now.
