Steve Remington at Collectair is a class act. He loaned the AirVenture Museum his 1/48 Varney PT-17 (the kit was one of the first plastic model kits made in the U.S.) for our "Little Wings - Big Dreams" model exhibit. I'd love to visit his place in person.

The vintage airplane stuff in my neck of the woods (well, one of my necks of the woods) is a little shop called The Spitfire Emporium in Kitchener, Ontario. It's right on the side of the local surplus store. Anyways, they have a decent selection of model stuff and a wide variety of die cast and aviation art, among lots of other things:
