The grand bend example was ex Texas ANG airframe that flew into London airshow many many years ago for retirement to an aerospace company at Gran bend that was experimenting in forced landing field recovery or something.. It was last seen on a post in the states.. mr Heninger might be able to id the aircraft but I still have the free press article of her being disantled.. I remember one of the rcaf voodoos went mechanical and the borrowed spares from this one to fly in the show!
Hi all, Martin is helping me update the F-101 registry. Several of the pictures in this thread would be useful for the registry. If you posted a picture here, could you let me know if it's okay to use in the registry? And if it is, let me know how the credit should read. Thanks.
Scott:

There was another thread in July - August 2009, the last time I updated my preserved Canadian Voodoo list. There were some good photos then that might also be useful for some of the pages.

The one that was parked at Lindsay Airport (Ont) is the one now displayed in Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.

I am not positive its the same airframe, because I haven't been to the McChord museum proper in several years, but I think it has been mounted on a pylon outside the Washington National Guard base just down the road from JBLM.

CF-101B

On display at McChord Air Museum, McChord AFB, Washington as 101021 (July 2008).
