An important double anniversary

Today, April 12th is a double anniversary, in 1961 Yuri Gagarin was the first human to fly in space, and in 1981 the Space Shuttle (Columbia) flew to space for the first time. Feelin' old yet?

it's also the 150th anniversary of the Civil War starting (and, oddly enough, the war started and ended on property owned by a Wilmer McLean) in 1861
