Calling all Bf 109 experten…
In a video that has disappeared today of Vimeo, Paul Boschung states that Bf 109 G-6 N109GF is an "original" (understand new built) that incorporates original bits and pieces of the wreck of Bf 109 G-6 wzrk Nummer Werk Nummer 161471 flown by Lt Hans Flor of Stab IV/JG-27 that was discovered in Hungaria with a couple other 109 wrecks in the early 2000s.
But on FB, I read from a reputable source that the frame looks "weird" in some places, and that this plane could have been made out of a Buchon…
Can experten enlighten the community here ?
