The Hiller H-16 an early attempt @ a very heavy lift helo, a really early C-130, an A4D-1 or 2, a flyby of a C-121/F-94C/F-89D/F-86D (some sort of night intercepter muscle?), a 3 ship of P5M's-where was this show and when???

The first photo is of the prototype YH-16, the worlds largest helicopter at the time. 40 passenger capability. The last photo is of three P5M-2 Marlin's.

Love the Marlins! .... The planes, not the baseball team. Go Phils!

That is an awesome formation too with the Scorpion.

I asked my uncle Don and he said he thinks it was Willow Grove. He was pretty sure it was a Naval station someplace around the Philly area. And reading that the YH-16 flew between 1954-55-56 before it crashed I would bet it was around that time period. I love a good mystery! :D

Any ideas?

Sorry I "barrowed" this photo from wikipedia. Could the building in the background be the same one in my photo of the YH-16? :?:
