I can honestly say that I know the feeling - except the plane wasn't the exact one but same make, and the pilot was from Okinawa. VERY neat!

Okay, dumbass question of the day from me - which airplane is the "other" L-5 that survived from that squadron? Maybe we can get him in that one too. :)
