Founded in 1978 by Bob & Caroline Collings of Stow, MA, the Collings Foundation has grown to encompass over 70 rare and historic automobiles and over 21 historic aircraft in its collection. The Collings Foundation is committed to the mission of encouraging living history and develops, promotes, and supports events nationwide with the flying aircraft in its collection. A primary focus of The Collings Foundation for the past 15 years has been The Wings of Freedom Tour: a 120-city annual nationwide tour of the WWII vintage Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and Consolidated B-24 Liberator. The tour brings these aircraft to local communities as a traveling museum for local walkthrough tours and to allow interested persons to fly aboard the aircraft for an additional donation to experience history “hands-on”.

Job Title: Office Team Member, afterhours support

Location: Stow, Massachusetts

Salary Range: $8 - $11 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Desc:
Provide in-office assistance of phone answering duties during peak and afterhours times. General clerical duties include: data entry, filing, press kit assembly, and mailing/shipping assistance. Specific duties include: Scheduling customers and donors aboard flight experiences, answering questions about the tour and assisting potential customers, filling mail orders of gift shop items, assistance in shipping materials and supplies to flight crew “on the road”. Duties may include assistance with local events at the Stow, MA location as well as the Boston/Southern NH area when needed.

Shift/Hours Requested:
·2 days during work week (M-F)
- 4 PM to 8 PM (Summer), 2 PM to 6 PM (Fall/Winter/Spring)
·Saturday & Sunday
- 11 AM to 6 PM

Requirements:
Good phone and customer service skills a must. Computer skills should include word processing, basic skills with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel. Ability to lift 40 lbs.
