Congratulations!!!! What fantastic news!

Great job to everyone there for doing such great work restoring her and being so patient with the final slog to getting her flying!

The editor had too many Rick's with all of them running around today and in error has labelled Rob Erdos as Rick Erdos. We will forgive him in the excitement!
Rob Erdos enjoyed the flight immensly!

Awesome! I love Lizzie's! Kudos to the CWH for taking the time to make this restoration "right"!

An observation - I didn't know how high the pilot sits in the seat, obviously to see over the nose. Those canopy sides are VERY low, obviously to improve visibility. It kind of reminds me of the A-10 or OV-10 with those low sides.

Questions:

1) Is the pilot seat adjustable in height? It looks like that pilot's head will barely be within the slipstream.

2) How is the visibility over the nose when sitting in that seat? Is it better or worse than most comparable warbirds?

Thanks for the pictures! :D
