The photo in question was on page 1 of this post of the Canada Aviation Museum Bolingbroke posted by Steve Nelson and the corrugated metal that can be seen in the forground of the second photo.
And sorry JDK, fingers go too fast sometimes and miss a few letters! I know it's Junkers, but thanks!

Ah, I see. Yes, that's it - where I saw it a few years ago.

Thought so, no worries. I had an interesting discussion recently with an academic who was convinced that it was 'Junker'. Had to go check on the J.1 that's different to the J 1 too... :rolleyes:

Yep, that's the Junkers all right. Here are a couple of better pics. Our tour guide said the museum's dilemma is whether to restore the aircraft, or preserve it in its current condition. I enthusiastically voted for preservation..there are very few original WWII aircraft still around, and almost none that still carry their original paint and markings.
