I've seen them do it in the past down around DeSoto as well and I think it was for a fly over as well. In Denver they'd also hold over certain points like that when waiting for an MOA to go active or while setting up for an "intercept" in an MOA while their "target(s)" got setup on the other end.

Down near Atlanta on Saturday, leaving a Chinese restaurant on Buford Highway and saw the Dixie Wing's Dauntless fly right over my head. Always great to get a flyby from a rare Warbird when you don't expect it and have to use your aircraft recognition skills

Near PDK in Atlanta Sunday afternoon what appeared to be a C-45 climbing after take-off.

Just about at the limit of my range of focus and for only ten seconds...I could see a shape of a fuselage insignia and horizontal stripes on the twin tail fins. No doubt those were round engines!

Boeing VC-25 on its way into JSB Andrews. Not sure if the President was on board to call it Air Force One.

Yesterday, a nice Navy yellow Stearman.
Today, a KC-135R and large wheeled Cub-type aircraft (too far away to see exact type).

While working at Give Kids the World village, saw the T-6s from Warbird Adventures flying the pattern.

At 5:02 local time B-17 909 passed overhead Hudson, MA headed South. It really is a thrill to see a warbird outside of an airshow or display even on a mundane straight and level flight

Good day for flyovers at Bristol Motor Speedway on Thursday, October 8th.

A flight of Blackhawks made a low flyby late in the afternoon.

And then I caught a high flying Hercules over my shop.
Looks to me like it might be an EC-130H.

Yesterday, I saw two F-16s in formation with a F-35 and a P-38 - "23 skidoo" I think -fly over the Salt Lake valley three times! I know the PAO guy at the 388th and he emailed me back and said that they were getting photos of the planes over the state capitol building for the activation ceremony today!

FIFI! Late this morning, FIFI was headed northbound out of Fort Worth toward points unknown. Looked great... sounded great... as always!
