Things to see in Danville

Tue Aug 19, 2008 1:31 pm

Hi again, this is the last one, I swear! :)

Here are some of the planes I saw in Danville last week. Very nice town. The airport is a real sleeper. A lot of warbird activity there. Danville is also the home of the best TP job I have ever seen. These pictures were taken 24 hours later and it was still first class. When I saw it the first day, it looked like it had snowed. :)

Good to see the airplane again, was just wondering a little while ago about the airplane and what Butch is up to these days.

The airplane was one of David Ts at one time and was at Genessco for a number of years. It was painted with Zeke paint on it and the story was he flew it to airshows in the 50s. His name was painted on both sides when the airplane was trucked to Air Heritage in the early 90s.

I did some work on it when it was there.
