But his family has been hit with swine flu. I'm praying that he'll not be affected by this, so please join me and if anyone is in his area, I'd bet his wife could use a hand now. One of his kids has it and Jen is ill also, but I don't think with swine flu.

I've been following Alan's recovery/post accident life through the online journal that his his wife Jen uses to keep everyone updated with.

What a struggle and emotional rollercoaster they continue to be going through. I hope for Alan to not be effected by the flu that is ravaging the rest of his family, and I wish for them a speedy recovery for the swine flu.
