The prop is in the high pitch setting for the 1st start after install. In the Mustang it is 65 degrees high. You don't notice it as the prop quickly changes pitch.
To install the prop you must index each blade to the 65 degree mark. The prop dome in this case comes set against the high or 65 degree stop. That way it fits together and everything is referenced to the same thing.
Back then everything had simple directions. To torque the prop retaining nut you have a 180 lb person hang from a bar 5' long.
