I know they are awful, but they are the only proof I have that I was in Seattle and the Blue Angles flew right over the part of town I was in. I missed snapping pics of the two times the Diamond Four flew over. I was right by the Ferrari dealership so I was in triple heaven. 1. Seeing the Blues. 2. Being out of Houston heat 3. Gawking at Ferraris

While I have seen the Blues full routine at Air Shows there is something magical about seeing them out of context close over a city-scape.

Have you thought of posting these at one of the professional linesman's sites? They would go gaa-gaa over your collection of pole mounted, single phase transformers! :D

Up @ Elysian doing some suds testing? Lots of great microbreweries in the Seattle/Everett area.

Yes that was very helpful thanks. I can't wait! It was the best erection of a life time.

Dude,
If you were @ Elysian, you have my deepest respect for having the determination to pass on things brewed in Olympic sized pools after being strained through a horse!
And you can pass on RED HOOK, which was great when it was in an old gas station on Leary Way and before it was bought out by the pile of pinkish bricks in St. Louis.

Okay, here's the deal -- if anything ever happens to Don, I'm jumping off a cliff.

The end.

Yeah, but you were @ 12th & Union (a few blocks East is NOT a good place to be!) about 13 or 14 miles from the race course.

Inspector,
I was in Seattle for a wedding that was due to start in less than 4 hrs.
Walking and running for two miles got me right about where you called out.

It was nothing but serendipity to see anything at all and I was at the Western edge of Seattle with no good way to get to Lake Washington. It occurred to me to blow off seeing them at all, but that is just NOT the Warbird Way!!!
Also, I had decided NOT to get stuck in any large crowd action because of the wedding.

Worse yet, I didn't have time to get to Boeing Field this visit.
So now I will just HAVE to go back!
