Interesting. The upper turret is still in place, but the guns are gone. And obviously, the fwd, lower turret has been replaced by a radar unit.

I don'tknow the B-29s very well. Any chance it is a post war TB, WB, KB, or RB-29A? It's looks modified for some reason.

It also has a little forward-looking Yagi-type radar antenna on the cheek, similar to those found on the (much earlier) radar-equipped night fighters such as the P-61 and P-70. Interesting. . .
