With permission from outstanding aviation photographer Scott Slocum, I'm posting a few shots he took from a Saturday morning photo shoot with the Red Knight T-33, P-38s Ruff Stuff and Glacier Girl and yours truly. This is one for the highlight films, a spiritual experience. Thanks to Steve Hinton, Scott Slocum and the Ruff Stuff crew for letting the jets tag along on the photo shoot.

Wonderful photographs! Thanks so much for posting. Will these be appearing in a magazine any time soon? Can't wait to see the full-sized prints if they are. Must have been a magical experience.

Cheers,
Richard

That looks like it was a great flight.

Who was the lucky person who got to ride along in back with you Paul?

Entirely too cool, Paul. I bet your cheeks hurt from all the grinning. :D

Many thanks for sharing.

My friend Cindy Rousseau was in the back seat. She owns the "Women Fly" t-shirt company along with her husband George. They shared a booth with "Lost Squadron" t-shirts in one of the exhibit halls. Don't know if Scott Slocum plans to publish these pics anywhere. Cindy and I agreed it was the ultimate magical, spiritual aviation experience to see a P-38 five feet off each wing.

That's great, I hadn't really considered the family resemblance between the Lightning and Shooting star, very cool.

Really amazing site to see the two Canadair built T-birds in formation and both sporting paint schemes commemorating their Canadian lineage as well.

Very very cooooool!

I'm figuring on four Canadian built and marked T-33s at Oshkosh next year, enough for a four-ship!

Those photos are the greatest. You could do a calender with just those shots.
Now which one will be your new avatar? :D
