check out what some of the bidders have bought in the past.

pairs of jeans, cd's of pilot's manuals, and last one I saw before giving up in disgust.... a family heirloom picture of the flag raising at iwo jima taken by a friend of one of the flag raisers which went for 30,000,000 and then refused to pay for it.

somehow I think the loonies have invaded the auction.

the vulcan guy is full of $5i7.

hes been trying to sell it for a very long time at a highly inflated price for an aircraft thats badly corroded and will never fly again. he reason for the sale is the aircraft condition is so poor its been deemed a safty risk.

i have been following the bidding which started at 6000 pounds and 90% of bidders were registered on or the day before bidding, so i would say the owners bidding on it himself trying to get a higher price, i even pushed it up a bit myself.

but theres no serious bids for that price, he paid 6000 pounds for it and its worh about that now.
