I first saw that video in the early 90's on America's Funniest Home Videos  . I would guess that happened at least 12 years ago, but I am unsure.
(Sorry for hijacking your thread  )

Thats cool. The reason I'm asking is, awhile back there was an NA-50 thread, and I think it turned out that there were three flying, I was just wondering which one of those this might be.

Thanks Col!

I'm glad its still flying. Maybe they'll keep cars of the ramp from now on.

Actually, I believe there are at least half a dozen replica 50's flying, possibly more. I've photographed five of them.

I think there was a similar incident at Oshkosh a few years back. Was it a Sea Fury?

Don't know about Oshkosh, but Bob Hoover met up with the Jet Dragster tow truck at Reno some years ago.

Hey,
I remember that show.
Not only did that happen, but the blues flew a 5 ship show, the parking lots were the most unorganized mess (it took us 4 hours to get to the gate)
and something else happened, but I forget what it was

I remember something about a vehicle getting it's backside chewed up by a Mustang.

It was the late 80's or early 90's, Elmer Ward in his P-51 Man-O-War taxied into a Buick Century that was on the ramp. I watched it happen. The prop strikes went from the rear bumper up to the rear seat on the passenger side. Looked like sliced bread. Perfect cuts about every 9" inches. Luckily there were no injuries. The Mustang prop had some dings and scratches in it. They blended them out and it flew home the next day.
