Warbird Adventures has come a long way in the last several years. We were located next to Flying Tigers museum in Kissimmee, FL since 1999. Our new facility is just across the ramp with a totally new look.

This is the old office that many of you may remember

The three pull through hangars we kept our SNJs in are gone as well

This is our new hangar which also is the new location of White One, the FW-190 restoration shop.

FW-190 "Black 3" is being assembled for display

We are looking for additional display items such as engines, props, WWII uniforms, etc. We also have hangar space available for other warbirds if any of you owners might want to keep your fighter in sunny Florida during the winter.

Outstanding facility, Chuck!

Whoever is doing the work on that Stearman project is sure to have an award winner.

Congradulations on the new place Chuck :D Looks great

It does miss some of the "patina" found at your previous location location however

Mind a favor ?

Can you ( if you are allowed of course ) post a few more pic of the 190 before it goes back oversea. Seems to me it will be done soon.

Is the engine a BMW ?

Tks & have fun at the new place.

Chuck, I love that old wooden building in the first photo, it looks like a place Jimmy Buffet might hang out on the porch, but I can see how it could get a little warm in mid summer.

Looking good!

I flew with Jay up at Geneseo this summer and, well, now I'm hooked. I've always had an interest in WWII aircraft and flying, but my flight in the silver SNJ-6 really triggered something. I joined these forums, bought several vintage aircraft books and will be taking up my CFI friend's offer for "cost of fuel" flying lessons in a Cessna 172. If I'm ever in Florida, I'll have to stop by and see the new shop in person.

Side question: I know that you guys are only up here for a couple months during the summer, but would you be willing/able to offer one of your 5/10 hour flight training packages while you are here. Obviously, this is down the road a couple of years when I have sufficient time in an "easier" aircraft. Just curious.

Was just on the website. Is it me, or are the prices very reasonable for your flights?

Our prices our less expensive than any other T-6 operator in the country.

I willl post more FW-190 pictures next week. They hope to be done with the first one (Black 3) In a year. White One is already under rebuild to flying status.

Thanks for the pictures. FW-190 looks pretty close to being done? My friend recently went flying with Warbird Adventures, got a video, he loved it, some day I'm gonna do it when the time and money cooperate! Sounds like a great operation from what he had to say, and the price sounds excelent for what you get to do. I'm on the line crew at Canadian Warplane Heritage in Hamilton, we have Harvard flight but no aerobatics, more of a sight seeing tour, it'd be nice to experience the other side of flight! See you some day!
