The TBFs in the patterns are of VT-2 AG-2 USS Hornet late 43 or early 44.
The TBF missing half the wing is from VT-82 USS Bennington which was part of my cousin's Air Group 82. BTW this was in the spring of 45 so it's most likely a TBM-3.

I'm using a Mac, so no right clicking for me  Is there another way?

Assuming you are using a single button Mac mouse, click with 'control' pressed, and 'copy image location' and 'paste' into doc of choice. Labourious, but works. If you are using Firefox rather than Safari, you can click on 'properties' which gives the details.

Great photos. I've seen worse real aircraft than these Grumman mockups.

Glad to see you made it over from the armour site, it was a no brainer your photos would find an appreciative audience here

More great pictures. The two crash test pictures look like something out of "Mythbusters" on the Discovery Channel. That must be Buster the Crash Dummy's grandfather in the pilot's seat.

The Tigercat might be the best looking airpalne ever built. I'll get em on here but it will take time.

Anyone have any idea how many pictures I can post in this thread? Is there a limit?
