The nose and gear of #3 strongly resemble a Bf-108, but the tail and canopy look wrong for a Bf-108.

First one is a pic of 'Rawdons' I think. Last one bears a vague similarity to a 108, so probably some sort of 'Nord.'

Photo 2 = Fairchild XNQ-1

NQ (T-31) (Model M-92) 1946 = Basic/Advanced trainer for military evaluation as replacement for AT-6/SNJ. 2pClwM rg; 295hp Lycoming R-680-10; v: 175/166/51 range: 955 ceiling: 16,000' (>19,300'); ff: 10/7/46 (p: Richard Henson). Both delivered to USN in 1947. POP: 2 prototypes as XNQ-1 [75725/75726], the first of which was repowered with 320hp XR-680-13, then finally with inline 350hp Lycoming GSO-580; it was destroyed (in a crash?) about 1950. Rejected by USN, but subsequent trials by USAAF using the second plane, with a larger stabilizer, led to designation of T-31A and a procurement schedule in late 1948 for 100 units; however, this was cancelled in 1949 in favor of Beech T-34. [75726] still active in Texas into the 2000s. (— Don Pellegreno)

I have to agree with BenG about photo 3.

I have a photo of N5440 taken at Oshkosh from almost exactly the same angle.

and finally...

The first photo shows three Rawdon T1 trainers.

Possibly the three that went to Columbia in 1952?

Cheers,

Brett

Those are indeed, the Rawdons that went to Colombia.

If you look carefully at the photo, ther Colombian colors are on the rudder, while their roundel is on the wings.

Hard as I have tried, I cannot get any data on these aircraft in Colombian service.

Saludos,

Tulio

Tulio,

HK289 is/was on the Colombian civil register. Is this likely to be one of them? Maybe you can track down the owner and find out it's service history.

Good luck,

Brett

As expected this group quickly identified these!

1. Rawdons
2. Fairchild XNQ (based just a few miles from me and flown regularly by Don Pellegreno)
3. Morane-Saulnier

Fun stuff...
