Hi All,

Well I've been doing some seroius cleaning and I came across these Gems. I got these at a Flea market some time back for 50 Cents. :shock:

Hope you all enjoy the photos.

Question the inline engine does anyone know I think it might be a Ranger but I'm not sure.

Long-nose V-1710 perhaps?

HI YES ITS A ALLISON V1710 LONG NOSE MOST LIKELY FROM AN EARLY P-40 OR MAYBE ONE OF THOSE FUNNY LOOKING BELL A/C IN THE OTHER PHOTO,ONE OF WHICH IS STILL BURIED AT PAX RIVER NAS ALONG WITH A GERMAN ARADO JET BUT HANDS OFF NAVY PRESERVATION AT WORK !!THANKS MIKE :cry:

No question that is an early P-40 engine.
