Dave, I uploaded another 500+ photos today to Photobucket, we could have some Martlets, seems like I forgot about leoning, edo, mitchel field, sikorsky, vought, ranger liberty, sperry, rockaway, brewster, columbia and some things.......bear with me.....

The Goose in # 46 never made it to England.
It was taken over by the U.S. Navy as a JRF-4 BuAer 99078.
Built as cn 1055, NC 3022 was originally owned by Standard Oil of Kansas.
Lord Beaverbrook's Goose G-AFCH (cn 1009) in # 49 was sold to Royal Dutch Shell for use in the Far East as PK-AER and was destroyed in January of 1942.

At the extreme right of pic #55 there is a glimpse of another aircraft in the background. My first reaction was that it might be a captured Zeke. Or maybe it's just an SB2C Helldiver?

Any opinions??

It's either a SB2C or an USAAF A-25.
Most of the USAAF's airplanes were turned over to the Marines for use as training aids.

Anyone know for sure if the ship in image #43 is a Luscombe Phantom?

'Tis interesting to note that the B-10 in photo #37 was assigned to the 35th Pursuit Squadron, 8th Pursuit Group...

Spurred on by Steve O. Reno's post, I googled "Aline Rhonie" and found some interesting stuff. The one that explains the mural and the Phantom and its fuselage markings is:

There were a few Curtiss designs which bore the name 'Shrike' so, to be a bit more specific, it's a Curtiss A-12 Shrike.
