How many Airspeed Horsa glider replicas were built for the film and were any preserved?

Several

None

They weren't as good as they looked (good prop making) and a number of them were 'only' 2d cutouts for horizon work. I believe one was preserved for a while but it just came apart in the end.

Do we know where these pair were previously located to the filming, I know it might seem obvious but I'm wondering if these had previously been woring in Nigeria?
